Welcome!

Inspired by Twentieth Century recordings, film musicals and French and Italian Cinema, accomplished linguist and professional teacher and translator, Charlotte Moore, presents her band to remind us all that music is the original language of humanity!

Having travelled in Europe frequently as a child, living and working in France and Italy, excelling in Ballroom and Latin dance and performance, Charlotte’s passion for singing has enabled her to appear publicly and at private functions on stage, in choirs, and in various guitar and vocals duo formats.  Charlotte has co-written original music and has had her creations performed in stage productions as far afield as Dubai.

In recent years, however, due to a series of synchronistic events, Charlotte Moore and Her Band was formed and Charlotte’s long-held aspiration to front a vintage Jazz and Swing band was realised! Charlotte has a core group of exceptional musicians and several other phenomenal players have joined the posse along the way, allowing a flexible band format and a veritable richness of sound.

The group performs vintage-inspired renditions in (mostly) English, French and Italian. Even Spanish, and Welsh scores are among their repertoire. A truly romantic band with songs sung in Romantic tongues! Hire Charlotte Moore and Her Band for private events and exclusive gatherings before they are obliged to move to Monaco by popular demand and no small remuneration!
